Hey all.
Haven't been on the forums here for a while - hope everyone is doing well.
A few friends and I are planning on coming over to your wonderful (I presume) country to check out the revival later this year. Anyone know if there are going to be many/any Jems/Marcos etc there? Anyone else going? Any recommendationss on good places to stay or other things to see at that time. We will probably be over for ~10 days or so.
Any advise/suggestions appreciated.
Cheers

Syd

Hi Syd, If you want cheap accommodation there's Travelodge Chichester Hemsworth, but book soon. I expect all the hotels will get booked up pretty quickly for that weekend. I don't know what the other hotels are like - Allan Brown might have a better idea. While you're in that part of the country you should visit the national Motor Museum at Beaulieu. They have a big autojumble on 8th-9th September, or if you stay long enough there's the Mini World Action Day at Castle Combe circuit on 29th September. We usually have a big turnout for that event. There's also the Haynes Museum in Sparkford which is worth a visit, or if you venture further north there's the Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon in Warwickshire.

I don't know who's going to be at the Revival with a Marcos or Jem, but very probably there'll be one or two - maybe even competing.

Thanks Richard,
Some handy things there. We are getting together early next week to discuss and will start booking things fairly soon after. As you say, it will get booked up fairly quick so we won't leave it to much longer.

Hi Syd,
I can't really recommend any where to stay but I have heard everywhere gets booked up early. Unfortunately I have only got a 2 bedroom flat so can't offer you a bed here. You are more than welcome to come round and see my cars.
Brooklands is worth a visit.
Let me know if there is anything I can help with.

Hey, thanks Allan. That's Ok. I'm sure we will be able to find somewhere.
Yeh, Brooklands is a good idea. Wouldn't mind having a looksee at your cars if it works out (discover your secrets and all that )
