Mini Marcos Mk. IV, 8220, SHR 843S (GB), Owner: Mark Chatfield

 

Mark Chatfield completed this interesting conversion in 1993. The floor pan was first strengthened with steel plates and then a saw cut was made behind the top of the windscreen. As each corner of the car was jackedup in turn no movement was seen between the two parts. It was then safe to remove the remainder of the roof. These photos were taken in 2007.
