Peel Viking

The Viking was launched in 1966 by the Peel company on the Isle of Man, better known for its diminutive three-wheelers. However only two were produced before the project was taken over by Bill Last’s Surrey-based Viking Performance company. About 25 kits were produced before Last's involvement with the ex-TVR Trident led to abandonment of the project. Top: This example was seen at the Newark Kit Car Show in 1988. The museum claims that the moulds are the originals but an informed source believes that they were taken off a car andused to make a number of additional shells.
