im needing advice on making new opening handles for the interior of the doors the ones on my car were well beyond saving!!!
would even like to know what jem or marcos owners are using?
any one any ideas?

I use domestic door handles on the marcos, with the escutcheon removed. If I remember I'll get a photo tomorrow. Are your door handle shafts drilled and threaded to take a screw into the inboard end? |

I have the same on my passenger door, nice stainless steel one I got cheap from Aldi

This is my interior handle. Originally the car had alloy handles like the Minispares ones but heated up and cranked to go round the door card. This made them very brittle and liable to break.
I think the Kingfisher had Marina type handles on the outside. |

heres the mechanisms from the inside... i think i might be able to make a handle to suit not too sure on how long it will last.
You can see where the cable attachs and pulls the handle to unlock. i could make a handle which attaches to this and it would be a case of pulling when in the car to open door.?
what does everyone think? |
