Hi all,
This is my first post on this site, although I have been a registered member for many years now.
In fact, simply just after I purchased RS M2 1160.
This car is domiciled in New Zealand.
I believe that there are only 2 of the Mk2 model in NZ.
I have had the opportunity to go for a ride in, the other one, at Taupo Race Track with Tim Neil. This car is a prime example of what can be achieved.
And it's really hard when you are 10,000km away from there home.
Anyway, the reason I post is I am interested in people's opinions, advice, etc, on what they think would be a asking price, as the car/restoration project, is on the market.
Some details:
It is a rolling car.
Hi/Low suspension
Standard 10 inch wheels
1300cc+ engine, 1.5 roller rockers, flat top pistons,
downdraft Weber carb with K&N filter, electronic ignition.
New upgraded radiator
Front disc brakes (mini) with vacuum booster (needs recon)
Recond gearbox (bearings and baulk rings)
Remote gearshit fitted to match gearbox.
NO exhaust system (safety measure to keep me off the road)

I'm not quite sure that this car is worth the same as in GB or Europe.
But still very interested in your thoughts.
Will post some recent pix when the weather clears up.

Cheers
