Like the idea Richard. Measured the space on my rocker cover and it would appear that you could go up to 30mm wide which will give you a bit more space.

I think the pressings vary a bit. I've measured mine and the flat area is about 28mm wide. I don't want the edges to overhang or the badge would be more likely to get caught by tools, clothes, etc. Has anybody got an early BMC rocker cover? If so please could youn check the available width. |

I measured two BMC steel valve cover tags, both are 30MM. One cover is early, predicated by it's steel oil filler cap and straight vent tube. The other is later with a plastic cap and bent tube. There is not a big margin for a larger plate...2MM at the most. I hope this helps... Tom |

We've now placed an order for the badges, using Robow's latest design. PM me if you want the supplier details. The price for small numbers is very high so it's probably not worth going to a big supplier for one-offs. I think there are some small companies or hobbyists that will do specials for you but I don't have any contacts. |

The badges have now arrived and they look superb - not just on the rocker cover, but also on the dashboard or on the back of the car. They can be stuck on the front of alloy rocker covers. The price is GBP 2.00 at shows, GBP 2.50 by post and GBP 2.75 by post to Europe with payment by PayPal. For airmail outside Europe please enquire. Details are on the regalia page.
Please send your orders to Roger Garland (roger@minimarcos.plus.com). Two badges will be on their way to Robow to say thankyou for the artwork.
