The time has come for me to consider parting with my MM no.6045. after gathering dust in the garage for the last 4 years I cannot justify the floorspace (and it will be to hot to use when I move to Portugal!).
Chassis no. 6045 Mk 1/2 tax exempt 1967 reg as Morris 2axle rigid body sports. Mot expired -10 miles since last test 2005? so shouldn't be a problem Body much modified internaly (VW fuel tank/ bulkhead enlarged for fitting metro turbo in the past etc) Interior- needs restoration Paintwork- well um yes could do with that as well Mechanics- good 1275A+ 1 3/4" SU HIF, 2.9FD central oil pick up etc all good apart from a noisy timing chain. Metro discs beam axle etc.
I shall post some photos in the next week or so as it is currently buried under various objects in the garage.
As I said am still not 100% sure if I am going to part with the car at the moment but this is dependant on any response I get here - otherwise it will probably go on ebay in the next year.
please PM me if you want any more details

It would be worth seeing how easy it is to register the car in Portugal. That might make your mind up for you. |

Hi Simon, so you got rid of the turbo then? I guess you could open-top it like Mark Chatfield's car, but it would be rather a shame to do that to a Mk. 1. |
