An update on OHA 655F, Mk3. I had the nose reinstated by Mike Brown plus a bubble put into the roof plus various other repairs. Excellent job. I've now moulded in an air box in readiness for a Weber 45 (just bought off ebay). Next job is cleaning all of all the carpet and sound proofing glue from the shell so I can spray the inside matt black. I'm hoping a coat of isolator will take care of any bits I've missed, can't get to or just run out of enthusiasm. |

I think i will need a bubble in the roof as iam not that far of it when i sit on the floor of my shell! So what colour is the top coat going to be? |
Inside every older person is a younger person wondering what the hell happened!!!! |

That has been the most difficult decision so far. Think I'm going for pale blue, sort of Gulf colours but without the stripe. Possibly. I needed the bubble to accommodate a crash helmet. I used to race a Piper GTT, I had to drive that with my head wedged in at an angle! |

I know what you mean about deciding on a colour Peter, I still am unsure about what colour to do mine and I have already bought some paint!! Still can't decide if dark green is the right colour as the body still has a few flaws even after weeks of rubbing down, any flaws I have missed will stick out like a sore thumb. |
