Hello,

I was looking for "mini marcos" at google till this showed up. http://www.kapaza.be/Autos/Overige_merken/6817751/Originele_MARCOS_prototype.html

Translated to english:
Marcos, build as a prototype in 1965
With original engine a marcos engine, with dubble weber carberators
The only model!
1300 CC

For more information: Call too 0478/78.92.36 (Pascal)

They belgian try to sell there cars as a "65 car and now it was even a prototype but it looks like a MK4 .

a MK4, It was also offered for sale at autoscout24 a couple of weeks ago.

Well the chassis plate is still there, and those are definatly SU's .

Yes, of course it's a Mk 4 and not a prototype

A former MMOC member and friend of mine, Tony Winstanley, did the major modifications - using my very first Mini Marcos (YAC 36S) for ideas and inspiration, even down to the TR7 rear lights.  Tony added other things, such as the very unusual bonnet - then donated the mould to the club (which is how Andy Wright and others managed to acquire similar bonnets!)

The car was sold (many years ago) to a Mini enthusiast who helped run the Belgian Mini Owners Club and I believe he converted it to "left hand drive".  I'm pleased to see the car has survived in what looks like quite good condition - but I have to think what they might be asking for it, compared with the very modest sum Tony received
