Ollie, I thought all the versions had the (van) tank mounted up from underneath?  (I'm having a few tank problems myself at the minute!)
As for seats - it's up to you as far as I can tell!  I'm saving (Ha, ha, ha - good one!) for Imola S seats from Corbeau.  They've got the lowest seat squab height giving that bit more headroom.

well the tank is in the cockpit, (will take a pic tomorrow to show what i mean) i thought it was against DVLA? rules.

What seats will fit in the marcos though i am about 5' 10" so am not that tall so am not that bothered about headroom just cost!!

Will any seat fit? ie bucket seat with 4 point harness? its for use on the road so needs to be legal.

What about Mazda MX5 seats. They are quite small.

I think these are the ones Wil Ker swears by in his  (non-MM) cars- built in speakers in the headrests too!

As for the IVA rules, yes the tank has to be isolated from the passenger cell, including the filler pipe routing.  But isn't your car already registered/tested, in that respect?

As Graham says, if you already have a log book you'll just need an MOT, even the front wheels sticking out beyond the bodywork shouldn't be a problem, "that's the way they made them" is the stock answer!
I made a glass fibre cover for the tank using the tank as a mould. I fitted the tank from underneath and the cover from the top with a bead of silicone around the edge. Once the carpet is in, no-one will notice anyway.
I'm using Sparco Sprint seats with a six point harness. I can't stand those harnesses you have to put on like a rucksack, they always end up like wearing a bra! No use at all if you submarine into the footwell.

Hi all, have seen a couple of seats that look nice but the size is bothering me it is  The widest part of the seat part outside to outside is 500mm the runners are approx 450 centres, simple question (to you lot anyway) will it fit?
