This is the one I saw last year - 7325. He's got some nice mechanical bits to go with it.

Didn't this one used to be raced in the old days when Nick Day/Jim Vokes/Steff/John Dickens all used to race in appendix 'K'.

I don't remember this one. It wasn't one of the 'Mini Marcos Mayhem' or 'Philias Frogs' teams. There was a Mk.IV (8085) with a Kingfisher front that was owned by Thomas Aldrian at one time, and then by Rainer Sielhöfer. It's only Kingfisher on the bottom half of the nose - the top bit is Mini Marcos.

The one I'm thinking of was dark green and a little scruffy with , I think, black revolution 4 spokes on it.
Driver was not the tallest chap in the world with fair hair and a moustache. For some reason I'm thinking he either lived in Suffolk, or his family was up here and he stayed with them when racing at Snetterton.
I'll have a dig around my old pictures, I'm sure I have a picture of the car somewhere.

Was it Charles Colledge by any chance? He had a dark green Mk.3 with a rather amateur attempt at a racing front end. The only other people I can think of was Keith Norris but he had a white Mk.I, and Ian Head who one wouldn't describe as "tall". See http://www.minimarcos.org.uk/sport/mayhem/index.html

If it included all the nice bits that were with it then I think it was a reasonable price. The shell didn't need much work apart from painting, trimming and fitting out.
