Hi All, So I've been lurking here for a while gathering ideas and think that some posts from me are already well overdue. Below are some photos of my Marcos which hopefully should be progressing more rapidly to completion over the next few months (ready for the summer even!). I will try and put up photo's and some description of progress as it develops. My aim is to create a road car which can also be used for some competition, initially probably just hill climbs and sprints. This is my first attempt at this sort of rebuild/restoration so it is a bit of a learning experience.

Welcome Don!
Car looks a fine project. It's my first build too, but they do say every days a school day, so we'll all be learning together.
And it looks like there'll be yet another car on the road before mine! |

Hi Don, Good luck with the resto. You've got a nice clear garage to do it in! If you can give us the Marcos chassis number I'll put your car on the gallery. |

Thanks for the welcome. Graham don't be so sure it'll be on the road before mine though, I take a fairly relaxed attitude to 'finish dates' i set myself! Richard the chassis number is 7175, please do put it in the gallery. The garage is nice and clear at the moment this because it is a newly rented place. Whether or not it stays this way is another matter.

Hi Alex, I'm definitely happy with it but have underestimated how much work it involved and overestimated the amount of time I'd have to spent on it. But there will be progress pics soon! |
