Hello All,
I am looking at what racing formula seems good for a mini marcos to enter! The hscc historic road sports championship sounds good but my car isn't currently period, and the 750 motor club kit car formula also, but I feel some of the more modern engined cars my swamp me a little. Any Ideas, circuit racing only though.

Hi Olly, Tricky one, as for any Motorsport (I race a Caterham) it depends on your budget. In years gone by the Mini Marcos has gone well in 750MC Kit Cars, but as you say things have moved on and you might have to fit a modern engine - depends on your driving talent Also depends on if you want to do national championships or local circuit based races. Castle Combe GTs may have a suitable class, Lydden Hill have a kit car class. There seems to be a Modsports revival starting, which could be fun for a highly modified MM. Have a good think about your budget, entry fees, towcar fuel, racecar fuel, testing and so on - if you have any questions feel free to ask me.
