Alexis, is that the SC throttle body set up? If so I'll be interested in how you get on with that - I'm sure they do an adaptor kit to wire it into the MPi loom. What ecu are you looking at using? Some good progress by the way! Puts me to shame ETA - will those injectors clear the bonnet or is some modification going to be neccessary? |

it's a complete wire ready to fit ( because a switch hiff44 to SC injectors) but it's already exist a kit for MPI mini

it's the SC ECU complitly mappable , with intake air t° , crankshaft sensor, coolant sensor, throttle position sensor and more

it's the next step for me , fix up the engine temporarily, to see if the bonnet needs modifications ....

Excellent - like I say, I'll be interested how you find the kit. In some ways it could be seen as a step backwards (from the MPi set up) in that it's more of an electronic carburettor, than 'proper' injection. Having said that, it does seem to be the most cost effective (and effective!) option for proper programmable injection. I hope it goes well for you - and I might nick the idea as well if it proves successful . Out of interest, what make is the LCB manifold you've got mounted on there? I ask as I've got an SC stainless now on my mini and to be honest, the trouble I've had (and still have) trying to get it to seal correctly are doing my head in!!! Any cure seems to last no more than a couple of weeks before starting to blow again. I only put it on (having bought it for the MM) as the Maniflow LCB split in the middle of the 'Y'. I bought another to replace it before experiencing all the problems. Again, if it is an SC manifold I'll be interested to hear if you have the same problems or if I've just been unlucky with this first one. |
