| Will the heated rear screens which used to be available fit Mk 3 shells without the opening hatch |

The rear screen aperture should be the same from MK1 through to Mk6 both fixed and opening. Unless it's been altered at some point, even then it's only a case of rebuilding the edge with fibreglass. Mike |

Any luck yet? I'm not aware of any changes to the dimentions except that Mark 4 cars had flat rear screens whilst earlier cars had double curvature ones. I'm not sure about later marks. The club had some heated rear screens but they are no longer stocked.
An alternative could be to get the screen made from polycarbonate or acryllic. The former is more scratch resistant, and more expensive. You might need to provide a template. In that context I think I still have my original Mk.IV window from which I could make a template. |
