Hi Nick,
do you want to buy a Mini Marcos based on a '64 Mini?
First cars appeared in early 1966 and the one on your pictures is a Mk4.

Hi Nick,
I like the satin black with the yellow stripe, or how about tangerine with a black stripe

I used a program called !Intergif. It takes a sprite file containing a number sprites which must be exactly the same size and which must be 8bpp, and it produces an animated gif file. You can specify the interval between frames in centiseconds, and you can specify different delays for individual frames if you want to. Sprites are bitmap images.

The first image which I didn't use in the animation shows the car with Revolutions on.

The one colour that really stands out is yellow with a black stripe.

matt is how it is typed... robow.

hi ther people... i used photoshop to produce these images and are all just screen shots of the marcos.

i have ahd a pm from chris jappy saying it is a marcos built from mini parts... he also mentioned that it was still mini on the log book.

is it hard to get the log book changed. i know the engine that is in the car differs from whats originally on the log book for the 64 mini. (think it was an 850) but the engine in it at the moment is a 1275 A+

is it easy to get the car sva tested or would i need to get a Q plate?? i hop not casue i really want to keep the 64 plate. i think its wicked.

cheers for the GIF would you create another one for me?? i could make the pictures fit better by creatng jpegs of them and sending them to you... if you could pm me your email adress and ill send you the files. cheers, again

Nick

p.s as for the wheels they are the wheels on my austin 850 at the moment they are 10 inch dunlop d1s. i have made them fit the pictures... the car in its original state does have revolutions on them but when i purchase the car it will have 13 inch slot mags on it i think either them or minilites.

just to let you know.

also my personal oppinion is i like the black with the yellow stripe... only cause i have recently had a crash in my 79 austin 850 and want to pay tribute to her in the Inca Yellow Stripe.

i have looked into dashboards.. and was thinking about getting sumthing along the lines of one of these... in black alacantra with yellow stiching... ( to suit the yellow Stripe.) ??

http://www.customminis.co.uk/id51.html

what you reckon.

wonder if the dash would need much altering to fit.... will need to speak to the company and see. any one had any success fitting custom fibre glass dash's??
