This Marcos Ltd. Mk.IV deservedly won the best car award at the 1992 International Marcos Rallye
in Sweden. It was owned and restored by Danish dentist, Morten Deenfort, who sadly died soon after the event. The car
suffered a broken windscreen on the way over, and after arriving at the event Morten went all the way home to fit a
replacement and then came back to the rally.
Some time later the car was seen at an exhibition in Copenhagen by Per Hahn who snapped it up. You can read Per's story of the car here. (photo: Colin Wrigglesworth) |
