Mini Marcos Mk. IV, YYB 502N (GB), Builder: Doug Forbes

Doug writes: “In 1973/4 I built the Mini Marcos Reg YYB 502N for my
brother in law. Colour [yellow] interior professionally trimmed in black.

“After a couple of years he emigrated to South Africa and I was told to
sell it the car as he was settling there. I advertised it and a chap from
Northern Ireland flew over to Bristol to inspect. Bought it and was back hom
that evening having driven from Somerset to Stranraer and across to Larne.”.

We’re guessing from the date that this could be a Marcos Ltd. Mk. IV.
