The Mini Marcos leads the field into the first corner at Kyalami, South Africa, in the 1967 nine hour race thanks to a quick getaway in the Le Mans start. The car was driven by Raubenheimer and Jem Marsh, and finished 15th. Thanks to Goff Allen for the photo. The photo above was found by Tertius Van Zyl. Note the raised windscreen position following a little scrutineering difficulty before the 1967 Le Mans race. Third photo by Deon Smit via Racing Sports Cars. |
