Garry, sorry for the delay in replying - I've been away! I took the picture at Slark Race Engineering in Salisbury, when I had my mini down there on their rolling road. It caught my attention for the very fact that I was looking at how to install a turbo/supercharger into a Mini Marcos (I tell you, this is going to be the best planned build ever! ) Turns out it's the car of a guy on turbominis forum and he's just got it on the road - I'll dig out the thread and post a link. It looks to me to be the best solution to fitting a turbo/supercharger, utilising the space under the 'slope' of the bonnet. It also would keep the heat (from a turbo) away from the bulkhead, and I don't know if Heritage would incorporate an enlarged 'weber' type box into a new build shell. I would hope to use fuel injection though, which Neil Slark said this conversion could use. |
