Allan Jeffery's superb Kingfisher Sprint Turbo poses at the National Kit Car Show, Stoneleigh in May 2001. This car, which made its debut after restoration at the same show in 2000, is powered by a 1380 cc MG Metro Turbo engine with intercooling. The scan hardly does justice to the brilliant Kingfisher blue metallic paint. The side pipes, by the way, are real. (photo: R. Porter) After a couple of changes of ownership this car is now (2011) in the care of long time club members in Lincolnshire.
