Colin Hedgecock aboard his 1071'S' Jem in around 1994. Colin bought the kit and the donor in 1972 but didn't have time to build it until he retired over twenty years later. Unfortunately he only kept the donor parts he needed and not the shell so he had to have a Q plate. The car was purchased by the present owner when the Hedgecocks moved to France and the authorities there weren't too keen on registering a plastic kit car with Q plates.
