Roger Smalley writes: “Just found this old photo of my Jem when new! Collected shell from Fellpoint, fitted 1275 with 997 cam and Stromberg carbs. Fitted three wiper system off E-type and vehicle ended up with full bull bar on front with 4 spot lights and used it for local Rallies. Had problems with stones coming up through floor. Sold after two years for £600.00. Being over six foot tall still fitted into car ok, I worked in garage trade and just loved the car, only sold when a got married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
