Ian Allbon writes: “FIVE Marcosii in one place at one time: another record for South Africa! “This is the second year in a row that Tertius van Zyl has driven his car 500km down to Pietermaritzburg from Johannesburg to attend this event and has also worked very hard, looking for and helping other owners in South Africa. Really a very good effort. He also twisted one of our new owner’s arm, Stuart, to trailer his car down from Johannesburg to attend the event as well. The Black car at the end is Stuarts.” Well done lads, it's a pretty damn good turnout considering the small number of cars surviving in South Africa. The sleek looking Mini Marcos on the trailer is Ian’s “work in progress”. It’s going to be quite something when it’s finished. (Photo: I. Allbon)
